Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Food Production - Sanitation Operator for the 2nd shift in Enid, OK. The role focuses on operating and disassembling cleaning equipment, sanitizing work areas, and preparing machinery for start-up and inspection.

The position requires strict adherence to GMP and USDA regulations and physical stamina to sustain extended shifts. Starting pay is $19.90 per hour with a $0.85 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to perform physical requirements with or without accommodation.
• Must be willing to operate and disassemble production equipment for cleaning.
• Must be willing to comply with safety, GMP, and USDA regulations.
• Must be willing to work 2nd shift, overtime and weekends.
• Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate and disassemble equipment such as blenders, cookers, fryers, mixers, and packing machines.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and set up equipment for inspection at start-up.
• Follow procedures to meet USDA and quality control requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain equipment uptime and safety.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
