Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking an Equipment Room Technician, reporting to the Supervisor, Equipment. This role ensures inventory levels for facilities supplies are maintained, tracks items, and delivers tools to staff across divisions.

The position also involves basic preventative maintenance on department equipment and power tools, with emphasis on safe handling and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) month experience in a related field.
• Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum education.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools.
• Maintains inventory logs for supplies and tools with par levels.
• Delivers supplies and tools to team members as requested.
• Signs in/out tools, keys, radios, and equipment between divisions.
• Completes forms on damaged equipment and supplies; communicates needs to management.
• Maintains clean, safe tool rooms and supply cages; promotes a safe work environment.
• Assists with vendor escort and customer service for internal and external customers.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Equipment, the Equipment Room Technician plays a key role in the upkeep of numerous Facilities supply cages. Ensures that adequate levels of inventory and supplies are maintained at all times. Assigns and tracks supplies and inventory, including supplies delivery to various personnel. Performs basic preventative maintenance on various department equipment and power tools.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs basic preventative maintenance and repair on equipment, such as cord change out on vacuums, carpet extractors, power tools, etc.,Cleans, organizes, and inspects department equipment.
• Maintains an updated inventory log on all supplies and tools to include par levels and usage.Processes requisitions to ensure proper inventory levels in tool rooms and supply cages.Delivers supplies and tools as requested and needed by team members.
• Signs in and out tools, keys,radiosand equipment from cages to team members from various divisions.
• Completes and tracks forms on damaged equipment,toolsand supplies.Provides insighttomanagementontools and supplies needed. Ensures that department vehicle logs and vehicle maintenance are up to date.
• Assistsin promoting brand loyalty by engaging in exceptional customer service to both our external and internal customers.Assistdepartment as vendor escort.
• Upkeepsthe tool rooms and supply cages tomaintaina clean and safe work environment for all team members.
• Performsotherdutiesasassignedtosupporttheefficientoperationofthedepartment.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GEDrequired.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (ksa)

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basicproficiencyin Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

• At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Must be able to obtain andmaintainvalid Forklift License.Forklift training and certification can be providedthroughthedepartment.
• Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
