Job summary

Airgas in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician to service and refurbish electric, diesel, gas and propane equipment for rental. Under the Branch Manager, you will perform repairs, testing and calibration to ensure peak performance.

You will maintain a clean, organized shop, prepare documentation for all machine repairs, and coordinate parts orders to keep the team productive. Occasional on-site service may be required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
A Valid Driver License and good driving record.
0-1 years of related technical experience welcomed.
Working knowledge of power generating and welding equipment is a plus.
Thoroughness and care in technical tasks with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and stay connected to team goals.

Responsibilities

Repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven welding equipment and generators.
Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
Prepare and complete documentation for all machine repairs.
Coordinate parts ordering to ensure efficient repairs.
Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and identify needs.
Occasionally provide on-site service to support equipment and customers.
