Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Repair Technician in Raleigh, NC. The technician repairs, refurbishes, and maintains engine-driven welding equipment and generators, under branch supervision, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and the role includes occasional on-site service, along with comprehensive benefits after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• A Valid Driver License and good driving record.
• 0-1 years of related technical experience; we welcome those early in their career or transitioning from similar fields.
• A working knowledge of power generating and welding equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, refurbishes, and maintains engine-driven welding equipment and generators.
• Assembles electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
• Performs testing and calibration to ensure machinery is ready for customers.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Prepares and completes documentation for all machine repairs.
• Occasionally provides on-site service to support equipment and customers.
