Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in McKinleyville, CA. You will be the face of our service team, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and returns, and using U-Scan technology to manage inventory.

This role offers on-the-job education, opportunities to earn certifications (hitches, propane, forklift) and a team-oriented environment focused on safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment and check fluid levels on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
