Job summary

United States-based U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, helping customers with rentals and equipment. You will inspect, hook up, and manage trucks and trailers, while using smartphone-based U-Scan tech to handle rentals and inventory.

The role offers on-the-job education, with two paid interviews and bonuses upon hiring and certification, supporting a fast-paced, customer-centric work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Educate customers regarding products and services and prepare invoices.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and drive a forklift (certifications provided after employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
