Job summary
Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Indiana is seeking a maintenance technician to support 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime on production equipment and facility systems.
The role requires hands-on diagnosis of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic issues, plus installation, repair, and testing. Training on 1st shift will be required until completion; weekend/holiday coverage may be expected.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance with strengths in PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical repair.
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
- Availability to work 1st Shift during training and willingness to support 2nd/3rd shifts.
Responsibilities
- Preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and asset life.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Installations, rebuilds, and repairs of production equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Systematic inspections, operation checks, and testing for safe, reliable performance.
- Lead contracting activities and coordinate with suppliers in CMMS records.
