Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Indiana is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily upkeep, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility. You will engage in preventive and predictive maintenance to keep systems running reliably and support plant operations.

The role requires experience with PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to read drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
At least 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
Access to export-controlled items conditional on eligibility.
Shift and weekend work availability.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment and facility systems reliable.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, electrical, and electronic equipment.
Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair equipment; support facilities infrastructure.
Inspect and test machinery and equipment.
Lead projects, interface with suppliers, and manage contracting activities; use CMMS.
Identify and source spare and replacement parts.
Participate in training, EHS, and company objectives.
Must be available for shift, weekend, holiday, and emergency coverage.
