Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or refurbishment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and refurbish equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
• Evaluate equipment condition and prepare refurbishment plans.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment using proper tools.
• Replace worn parts and perform necessary adjustments.
• Apply finishing touches such as painting or coatings.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure performance standards.
• Verify compliance with safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of refurbished equipment and parts used.
• Update tracking systems and report completed work to management.
• Work closely with service teams to prioritize refurbishment tasks.
• Assist in training new technicians on refurbishment processes.
