Job summary

LAUKOA invites applications for an Equipment Records / ERPS Technical Instructor to deliver formal instruction on GCSS-Army ERPS records, maintenance documentation, and DA Form 5988-E utilization. The role focuses on hands-on training, records accuracy, and supporting inspections across Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA.

Qualified candidates will have Army maintenance-record experience and be capable of teaching adult learners using Microsoft Office for reports and training materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army maintenance records, ERPS, GCSS-Army maintenance, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of equipment records and DA Form 5988-E.
• Familiarity with DA Pam 750-8 and Army maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot records discrepancies and coach users.
• Proven ability to teach adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach the GCSS-Army ERPS Records Clerk Course.
• Train personnel on equipment-record procedures and maintenance documentation.
• Provide hands-on support for GCSS-Army maintenance-record transactions.
• Train personnel on DA Form 5988-E utilization and related processes.
• Support SAVs involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.
• Assist units with identifying and correcting maintenance-record discrepancies.
• Support Government-led inspections involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.
• Provide onsite technical assistance to ERPS personnel and unit teams.
• Cross-train as backup for GCSS-Army Plant Maintenance and related instruction.
• Prepare training records, trend reports, and briefing materials.

Equipment Records / ERPS Technical Instructor

Position Summary

The Equipment Records / ERPS Technical Instructor provides formal instruction and technical assistance for GCSS-Army equipment records, ERPS processes, maintenance documentation, DA Form 5988-E utilization, and related maintenance-record functions.

Primary Responsibilities

Teach the GCSS-Army ERPS Records Clerk Course.

Train personnel on equipment-record procedures and maintenance documentation.

Provide hands‑on support for GCSS-Army maintenance-record transactions.

Train personnel on DA Form 5988-E utilization and related equipment-record processes.

Support SAVs involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.

Assist units with identifying and correcting maintenance-record discrepancies.

Support Government‑led inspections involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.

Provide onsite technical assistance to ERPS personnel, maintenance clerks, and unit maintenance teams.

Cross‑train as backup support for GCSS-Army Plant Maintenance and related maintenance instruction.

Prepare or contribute to training records, trend reports, briefings, and other required products.

Required Qualifications

Minimum three years of Army maintenance‑records, ERPS, GCSS-Army maintenance, or directly related experience.

Strong knowledge of equipment records, maintenance documentation, GCSS-Army record processes, and DA Form 5988-E.

Working knowledge of DA Pam 750-8 and role‑appropriate Army maintenance procedures.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot records‑related discrepancies and coach users on corrective processes.

Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

Preferred Qualifications

Equipment‑status reporting, maintenance‑control, PMCS, or readiness experience.

CMDP, SAV, COMET, or inspection‑support experience.

Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.

Security and Installation Access

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation‑access, background‑investigation, CAC, and Government information‑system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work Location and Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
