Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an Equipment Records / ERPS Technical Instructor to provide formal instruction and hands-on support for GCSS-Army equipment records, ERPS processes, maintenance documentation, and DA Form 5988-E utilization.

Position involves teaching courses, training personnel, and supporting inspections. The role is centered at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia, with responsibilities for documenting training records and preparing trend reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army maintenance-records, ERPS, GCSS-Army maintenance, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of equipment records, maintenance documentation, GCSS-Army record processes, and DA Form 5988-E.
• Working knowledge of DA Pam 750-8 and role-appropriate Army maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot records-related discrepancies and coach users on corrective processes.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

Responsibilities

• Teach the GCSS-Army ERPS Records Clerk Course.
• Train personnel on equipment-record procedures and maintenance documentation.
• Provide hands-on support for GCSS-Army maintenance-record transactions.
• Train personnel on DA Form 5988-E utilization and related equipment-record processes.
• Support SAVs involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.
• Assist units with identifying and correcting maintenance-record discrepancies.
• Support Government-led inspections involving equipment records and maintenance documentation.
• Provide onsite technical assistance to ERPS personnel, maintenance clerks, and unit maintenance teams.
• Cross-train as backup support for GCSS-Army Plant Maintenance and related maintenance instruction.
• Prepare or contribute to training records, trend reports, briefings, and other required products.
