Job summary

Muller,-Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking an experienced equipment operator to excavate trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer projects, install trench boxes as needed, and operate large excavators with precision.

You will follow Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures, perform daily equipment inspections, maintain good housekeeping, contribute to quality control and production, and train team members in a hands-on manner on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large excavators with precision.
• Ability to access secured facilities as required.
• High attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job

Physical Requirements

• Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).


• Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.


• Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.


• Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
