Job summary

A leading utility engineering firm located in East Liverpool, Ohio, is seeking Equipment Operators to support projects across the Pittsburgh area. The role requires safe operation of excavation equipment and assisting the crew in all project aspects. Candidates must have the ability to operate various machinery and hold a valid high school diploma or GED. Qualifications

• Must meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
• Has thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation.
• Occasional extended travel required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of trenching or excavating equipment for utility construction.
• Inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment utilized.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project.

Skills

Ability to safely operate trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and front end loaders

Ability to communicate with teammates

Willingness to work and follow directions

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
