Job summary

Team Fishel is hiring Equipment Operators for our Rochester, PA operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. Equipment Operators are critical to the safety and success of our crews, helping complete projects to specification and on time.

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $32 per hour, commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. Must be 18+, HS diploma/GED, able to operate trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and loaders; DOT compliant; good

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and front end loaders.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to communicate with teammates.
• Willingness to work and follow directions.
• Has thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation.
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects).

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of trenching, or excavating equipment for utility construction
• Inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment utilized
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
