Job summary

Taylor DM Brands in Amsterdam, NY is seeking a temporary Equipment Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm). You will operate and adjust machinery to customer work orders and maintain a clean, safe work area to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities include producing products to specifications, performing routine maintenance, inspecting quality, and coordinating with the Production Team to prioritize jobs while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to set and adjust machinery to required tolerances.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Basic math skills & ability to read measurements with a ruler.
• Good reading ability.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor DM Brands, formerly known as Amsterdam Printing, is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

You Must Have:

• Ability to set adjust machinery to required tolerances
• High degree of mechanical ability

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• 1 year experience in production or as an equipment operator
• Good color discernment

The anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
