Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Tampa, Florida is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will prepare and operate press equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure paperwork and forms meet specifications.

The role requires neat paper handling, close tolerances, and strong reading abilities, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a busy production environment. DailyPay is available as a payment option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Experience reading job specifications.
• Able to operate and maintain press equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate press equipment in compliance with job specifications and quality standards.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our Tampa, Florida team.

Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate press equipment in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Shift Hours: 3rd shift; 11pm - 7am Monday-Friday

You Must Have:

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanical ability
• Good reading ability.

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members
