Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Tampa, FL is hiring an Equipment Operator to safely process inbound materials and manage refuse on the tipping floor using a range of industrial equipment. You will handle responsibilities from receiving materials to operating forklifts, tractors, vacuums, and trucks while maintaining site safety and housekeeping.

The role requires 1+ year of equipment operation, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, wear a full-face respirator, and work rotating shifts in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work from heights/ confined spaces.
• Must be able to wear a full-face respirator.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials using industrial equipment (forklift, track hoe, skid steer, etc.).
• Safely operate equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
• Follow housekeeping practices at Reworld facilities and work areas.
• Perform exterior site maintenance such as litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Support traffic control for incoming/outgoing traffic.
