Job summary

The City of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate light to medium machinery to maintain city streets, parks, and utility areas. You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and assist with landscaping and seasonal projects.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; some experience in equipment operations preferred.
Knowledge of safety procedures and operating guidelines.
Ability to perform basic math for measurements and records.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment across divisions to maintain city streets, parks, and utilities.
Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report repairs.
Maintain and repair equipment and vehicles; perform daily maintenance.
