Job summary

Recycling Management Resources, LLC is seeking a Full Time Equipment Operator for our West Monroe, LA facility. The Equipment Operator will run forklifts and skid steers, perform basic maintenance, and help keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The candidate should have 2+ years of experience operating mobile equipment, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts (6 am–2 pm, 2 pm–10 pm, 10 pm–6 am) with occasional extended or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating skid steers, forklifts, or similar equipment
• Familiarity with heavy industrial or recycling environments is a plus
• Experience performing basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and skid steer to move materials and load equipment
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections and basic maintenance tasks
• Document inventory and weights and ensure accuracy to standards
• Follow plant safety guidelines and quality requirements
• Assist with maintenance tasks to support uptime and safe operation
