Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of standard safety rules and procedures.
• Experience operating hand and power tools and performing minor maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor maintenance and servicing work; checks fluids, brakes, air pressure, and washes equipment.
• Operates vehicles and a variety of small and medium equipment after CDL permit; may include dump trucks, loaders, graders, and asphalt repair trucks; oversees crews.
• Performs tree trimming, carpentry, masonry, painting and assists in highway signs installation and erection.
• Performs Temporary Traffic Control and assists with crew activity reports as needed.
