Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking an operator to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. You will maintain a clean work area, operate production equipment, and participate in safety programs while contributing to a culture of quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in recycling or manufacturing, can lift up to 50 lbs, and work well in all weather conditions. Forklift/skid steer/loader experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling/manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
