Description

Team Fishel is hiring Equipment Operators for our growing Raleigh, NC area operation. The purpose of an Equipment Operator at Team Fishel is to assist the Foreman in completing the project safely, on-time, and within the customer’s specifications for quality, and other work as needed.

The Operator uses company vehicles daily to deliver and pick up materials, reels of cable, steel plates, service tools, and equipment. They also work in the field with crews installing manholes, vaults, and completing various tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. 3+ years operating utility construction equipment safely and productively, including backhoes, directional drills, trenchers, skid-steer loaders, cranes, digger derricks, bucket trucks, excavators, and crane trucks.
2. Valid CDL-A strongly preferred.
3. Familiarity with DOT enforcement and compliance regulations.
4. Meet all DOT requirements, including physical and drug testing.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates.
6. Willingness to work and follow directions.
7. Thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation.
8. Willingness to travel is a plus.

Previous utility construction experience and bilingual skills are highly desirable.
