Job summary

Best Block is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team in Converse, TX. You will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized manufacturing machine, and for reporting information to the plant manager.

You will use equipment and tools to meet manufacturing specifications, take measurements to monitor processes and ensure quality production, perform machine maintenance and setup, and assist with palletizing and packaging of concrete

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation and maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized manufacturing machine.
• Reporting all needed information to the plant manager.
• Using equipment and tools to manufacturing specifications.
• Taking variety of measurements to monitor process and ensure quality production.
• Machine maintenance and set-up.
• Cleaning the machinery.
• Operating a forklift.
• General laboring tasks (as needed).
• Palletizing and packaging of concrete products.
