Job summary

Best Block Company is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for safe operation and maintenance of our computerized manufacturing equipment, ensuring production meets specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reporting to the Plant Manager, performing machine set-up and maintenance, taking process measurements, handling forklift operations, and palletizing/packaging concrete products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Drug test and physical exam may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operation and Maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized manufacturing machine.
• Reporting all needed information to the Plant Manager.
• Using equipment and tools to manufacturing specifications.
• Taking measurements to monitor process and ensure quality production.
• Machine maintenance and set-up.
• Cleaning the machinery.
• Operating a forklift.
• General laboring tasks (as needed).
• Palletizing and packaging of concrete products.

About The Role

As an Equipment Operator with Best Block you are responsible for:

• Safe Operation and Maintenance of a Sophisticated, Computerized, Manufacturing Machine
• Reporting All Needed Information to the Plant Manager
• Using Equipment and Tools to Manufacturing Specifications
• Taking Variety of Measurements to Monitor Process and Ensure Quality Production
• Machine Maintenance and Set-Up
• Cleaning the Machinery
• Operating a Forklift
• General Laboring Tasks (As Needed)
• Palletizing and Packaging of Concrete Products

We Require

• A Minimum of 1 Year of Manufacturing Experience.
• You Must Have Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Trouble-shooting Skills.
• A Working Knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic, Power, Transmission, Pneumatic, and Control Systems.
