Job summary

Best Block is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for safe operation and maintenance of a computerized manufacturing machine, ensuring quality by taking precise measurements and adhering to specifications.

You will report information to the Plant Manager, perform machine setup, maintenance, and cleaning, and operate a forklift, with palletizing and packaging duties as needed. A minimum of 1 year in manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation and maintenance of a computerized manufacturing machine.
• Reporting information to the Plant Manager.
• Using equipment and tools to meet manufacturing specifications.
• Taking measurements to monitor process and ensure quality production.
• Machine setup and maintenance.
• Machinery cleaning.
• Operating a forklift.
• General laboring tasks as needed.
• Palletizing and packaging of concrete products.
