Job summary

Centuri is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field crew. After paid training, you will safely operate heavy equipment, move earth, tools and materials to and from job sites, and support the Foreman to get the job done right.

You will perform daily pre-shift inspections, perform routine maintenance, and maintain all required operator qualifications. This role requires English fluency, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ year of equipment operating experience in proximity to workers and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 1+ year of experience safely operating equipment near workers and underground utilities is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grader, hydro-excavator, track hoe, and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
