Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking an Equipment Operator to support our heavy civil construction and aggregate operations. This safety-sensitive role requires operating loaders, dozers, crushers, and water trucks according to project specs while maintaining equipment daily.

The ideal candidate will have an MSHA 5000-23 certificate, be able to lift 80 lb, and work well in a team. You will perform pre-shift inspections, assist with plant setup, and conduct routine maintenance in a drug-free environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold an MSHA 5000-23 certificate.
• Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications.
• Team player.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals.
• Assist with setup and tear down of plants.
• Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor.
• General housekeeping of equipment and plant daily or as directed by supervisor.
• Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis.
• The use of a shovel to move material will be necessary.
• Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SCOPE
