Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator II to operate solid waste tractor/trailer equipment and perform routine maintenance. You will drive highway tractors with tipper-trailers from transfer stations to landfills, handling paperwork and maintenance logs as required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of equipment operation experience, and a valid Ohio CDL with endorsements. A DOT physical is required, and licensure must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a high school diploma and two (2) years of equipment operation.
• Must pass Department of Transportation physical exam.
• Must maintain licensure and a valid CDL with endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including highway tractor with tipper-trailer.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and service checks.
• Grease and oil machinery and maintain maintenance records.
• May back up Equipment Operator I as needed.
