Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in the Los Angeles area to receive, store, and move warehoused goods using forklifts. The role emphasizes safe operation, accuracy, and timely handling of materials within a busy warehouse environment.

You will operate stand-up and turret forklifts, load/unload, and track products with RF equipment while supporting recycling and shipping tasks. A forklift certificate and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift experience required.
• Forklift certificate required.
• Proven experience operating stand-up and turret forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them within the warehouse.
• Safely load and unload materials onto/off pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
• Perform all duties of Material Handler I as required.
• Operate motorized equipment including forklift, clamp, cherry-pickers, and motorized pallet jack.
• Utilize RF equipment to track product.
• Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials or equipment.
• Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials per customer specs.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work cooperatively with others.

Overview

Salary Range: $40,492-$60,625

Receives, stores, recycles, ships, and transports warehoused goods and products by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.
• Safely load and unload materials onto and off of pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
• Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler I as required
• Primary Responsibilities (60 % or more time in one or more of the following):
• Operates motorized equipment, including, but not limited to forklift, clamp, (see required certifications), cherry-pickers, motorized pallet jack, etc.
• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
• Disassembles, reassembles, or repairs products, materials or equipment
• Sorts, bales, weighs, loads, and recycles materials based on customer specifications

Qualifications

• 2 years of Forklift experience required
• Forklift Certificate Required
• Proven experience operating Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

• Sufficient formal education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or six months related experience preferred.
