Job summary

Colonial Group in El Dorado, KS seeks a Operator to run a Petroleum Coke Handling System and associated heavy equipment. The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), adherence to safety practices, and daily paperwork completion. CDL preferred and refinery/industrial experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of refinery, plant, or industrial experience.
• Class B CDL preferred.
• Read, write, and understand English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate/maintain Petroleum Coke Handling System with PLC-controlled conveyor system.
• Operate/maintain heavy equipment (front loaders, skid steers, dump trucks).
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork.
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Occasionally work outside normal duties as instructed by supervision.
• Take an active role in the safety program and attend safety meetings.
