Job summary

Jackson County, Missouri’s Parks + Rec department is hiring a Maintenance Worker to operate park maintenance equipment and perform asset improvements. The role includes cleaning park buildings and restrooms, contributing to safe, well-kept facilities.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, complete division training within six months, and obtain a Class B Missouri CDL with air brake endorsement within six months, plus pass background and drug

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• One year of work-related experience.
• Must complete Division specific training within six (6) months of hiring date.
• Must obtain a Class B Missouri Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement within six (6) months of hire.
• Must submit to/pass background check and drug screen.
