The City of Waxahachie is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support the Streets Division of the Public Works Department. Responsibilities include operating light construction equipment for various projects and maintaining public infrastructure.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of equipment operation, asphalt, and concrete experience. A valid Texas CDL-B is also required. This position requires working outdoors under varying conditions while adhering to safety protocols.

Under general supervision, operates light construction and maintenance equipment in support of a variety of activities including loading, transporting and related operations. Performs activities and duties related to the construction and maintenance of public infrastructure; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position reports to the Streets Division of the Public Works Department.
