Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in the Nevada, TX area. You will operate track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, or grinders to clear and grind trees and other forest materials, while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will perform routine inspections, complete daily service tasks, and document work orders. Strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work extended hours are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Able to perform inspections and basic maintenance.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post service inspections on equipment.
• Safely operate equipment on job sites or yards.
• Complete daily service tasks and paperwork (inspections, logs).
• Report accidents and injuries promptly and follow SOPs.
• Wear PPE at all times and maintain a clean cab and equipment.
