Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Austin, TX seeks an Equipment Operator to load, offload, and transport landscape materials, including mulch and soil. You will operate a range of heavy equipment safely, perform daily maintenance, and support inventory and order fulfillment tasks.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs+, work in extreme weather, and maintain logs. Prior landscaping or irrigation industry experience is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned equipment (front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire loaders, excavators) safely and proficiently.
• Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled.
• Inform branch leadership of maintenance/repair needs.
• Assist with other duties such as receiving materials, inventory, and order fulfillment.
