Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling in Texas seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing team. You will operate track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, or grinders to clear and grind trees and other natural materials while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Ability to work +/- 60 hours per week including Saturdays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must sit, stand, and kneel for long periods and move around equipment.
• Must climb into/out of equipment several times daily with three points of contact.
• Must operate controls inside and outside of equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post inspections on equipment.
• Safely operate equipment at job sites or yards.
• Complete daily service on equipment (cleaning radiator/filters, cab interior).
• Submit daily reports and logs.
• Report all accidents and injuries.
• Follow SOPs and procedures.
• Wear PPE at all times and work with others to meet goals.
