Job summary

GCC is seeking an equipment operator at our Texas plant. You will operate front-end loaders, graders, excavators, and water trucks to support site preparation and landscaping tasks. A valid driver's license is required, with at least one year of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, water trucks, graders, and pickup trucks as assigned.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles (oil, water, tires).
• Report maintenance and repairs needed to management.
• Operate graders for leveling and front-end loaders as required.
• Operate excavators and water trucks as required.
• Carry out site preparation and landscaping tasks using equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and environmental practices; train on MSHA safety rules as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Work where and when needed as directed by plant supervisor.
