Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator in Edgerton, KS for the 1st shift. This role operates equipment, performs RF inventory transactions, and supports daily distribution center tasks.

A high school diploma is required and forklift certification must be obtained through written and practical tests. The position requires regular lifting up to 50 pounds, active communication with team members, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Regularly stand, lift, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from designated locations using appropriate equipment.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to accurately record inventory transactions.
• Perform manual inventory counts as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections; report damage or issues to Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Report RF equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Unload incoming containers at the distribution center.

Position Title: Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator

Wage: $20.00-$21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

Monday-Friday

Edgerton, KS

Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Transport materials to and from designated locations using appropriate equipment


• Utilize RF scanning equipment to accurately record inventory transactions


• Perform manual inventory counts as needed to ensure accuracy


• Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections; report damage or issues to Supervisor


• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area


• Report RF equipment malfunctions promptly


• Unload incoming containers at the distribution center

Equipment Operator/Forklift Operator Requirements:
