Job summary

Iconic Power Systems Inc. is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in construction, along with knowledge of hoisting, rigging, and hydraulic equipment. You will ensure the safety of all team members while maintaining high-quality standards.

As an Equipment Operator, you'll coordinate with the foreman, provide afterhours support, and maintain equipment to meet project needs. We offer an attractive remuneration package including health and RRSP benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in construction.
  • Hoisting & rigging experience.
  • Equipment working knowledge.
  • Ground disturbances training.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring every team member gets home safely.
  • Provide afterhours support to crews as needed.
  • Coordinate day to day work scope with foreman.
  • Day to day maintenance of equipment and reporting issues to foreman.

Skills

Knowledgeable in civil construction
Ability to coach and mentor apprentices
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients
Trenching requirements & safety procedures
Valid driver’s license, Class 3 with air an asset

Summary

The Equipment Operator fosters an environment of construction execution excellence. The Equipment Operator will complete activities safely and efficiently all while upholding a strong dedication to quality.

Qualifications
