Job summary

Iconic Power Systems Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to drive safe, efficient construction execution on our projects, upholding quality and client satisfaction. You will work with foremen to meet or exceed expectations and ensure work progresses smoothly.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, and teamwork, with opportunities to mentor apprentices and contribute to a strong safety culture across sites.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in construction.
  • Hoisting & rigging experience.
  • Equipment working knowledge.
  • Ground disturbances training.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring every team member gets home safely
  • Review and understand corporate policies/procedures
  • Review and understand project schedule/milestones
  • Provide after‑hours support to crews as needed
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day work scope with foreman
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day equipment needs
  • Day‑to‑day maintenance of equipment and reporting issues to foreman

Skills

Knowledgeable in civil construction
Ability to coach and mentor Apprentice
Ability to communicate effectively
Trenching requirements & safety
Driver’s license, Class 3 with air

Education

3+ years’ experience in construction
Ground disturbances training

Tools

Hoisting & rigging experience
Equipment working knowledge
Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, Class 3 with air (an asset)

Operations
