Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences on-site.
  • Strong analytical skills to review project data and identify improvements.
  • Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a 627 Scraper safely and efficiently to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with crew members and subcontractors to stay on schedule and budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors regarding schedules and deadlines.

Job description

We are seeking a Scraper Operator to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
