Farwest Steel Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator 2 for the graveyard shift (6:00pm to 4:30am, Sunday to Wednesday) onsite in Washington. The role focuses on operating equipment to maximize machine efficiency and ensure top quality parts.

• Perform first part inspection on all production runs to specified tolerances and dimensional checks.
• Make adjustments and edit programs to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Help improve product quality through validations of all aspects of the machine.

About This Position

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Schedule: Graveyard, 6:00pm to 4:30am, Sunday to Wednesday. Wage: $20.05 to $31.05 per hour, DOE

Operating equipment at maximum machine efficiency, generating highest part quality.

Major Duties

• Perform regular predictive maintenance of the equipment to reduce unplanned machine downtime.
• Confirm order requirements are met, including proper selection of the job, priority and materials.
• First part inspection on all production runs to specified tolerances and dimensional check.
• Make adjustments, edit programs, etc. to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by improving product quality through validations of all aspects of the machine.
