Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator in Sumner, WA to support production across our sites. You will operate heavy equipment safely, perform routine inspections, and help move and stockpile materials according to requirements.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support production and site operations.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Load, move, and stockpile materials according to operational requirements.
  • Follow established safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain productivity and achieve operational goals.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
