Position Overview

Operate various large industrial equipment used in the facility's operations. Each operator will be trained on specific equipment, monitor and control its operation, and communicate issues to management. Assist with teardown, cleaning, rebuilding, and ensure equipment startup is timely and efficient.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and control equipment, personnel, and processes to meet production and sanitation standards, ensuring safety and quality.
2. Report issues during production or maintenance to management promptly.
3. Assist with equipment teardown, cleaning, rebuilding, and startup to maintain production schedules and safety standards.
4. Monitor equipment displays for proper operation and quality, and address problems using critical thinking skills.
5. Follow procedures, ensure smooth shift transitions, and communicate effectively to prevent production interruptions.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the plant and work areas.
7. Communicate issues clearly and collaborate with other departments to resolve problems.
8. Oversee machine center maintenance and reliability as needed.
9. Provide backup leadership to the supervisor when required.
10. Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic math skills.
