Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a motivated individual to join our Missouri Grading Team. The position will operate heavy equipment such as a 374 Cat Excavator or D8 Cat bulldozer, removing overburden in quarries around Missouri. The role is based out of Savannah, MO, with local travel to move dirt and shale during mining operations.

Hours are 40+ per week, with pay at $26 per hour. A high school diploma and a valid US driver’s license are required, along with bulldozer and excavator experience and

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-6pm

Pay: 26 an hour

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our Missouri Grading Team. This position will have the opportunity to operate large equipment like the 374 Cat Excavator or D8 Cat bulldozer removing overburden in different quarries around Missouri. This position will be based out of Savannah, MO but will travel around the local area to move dirt and shale in the mining process.
