Job summary

PowerGrid Services, LLC is seeking a field technician to support right-of-way clearing near powerlines and site cleanup. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

You will work outdoors in all weather, perform equipment maintenance, and follow safety protocols. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass drug, alcohol, and background checks.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to work in all weather and overtime when required.
• On-call for storm work.
• Able to enter/exit vehicles many times per day.
• Must wear PPE.
• Understanding of utility industry operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments.

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from various heights.
• Must be able to work in uneven and slippery conditions.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
