Job summary

Interstate is seeking an Equipment Operator to support cleaning and maintenance at client sites. You will handle cleaning tasks, operate floor care equipment, and ensure safe handling of supplies.

The role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strict adherence to safety procedures. This is a fast-growing national janitorial and facility services provider offering a chance to advance within the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms and other areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors and maintain clean surfaces.
• Remove trash and replace liners as needed.
• Use approved chemicals and supplies per procedure.
• Operate EPJ, scrubber, tugger, forklift, baler and trash/cardboard compactors safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM Sunday
• 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday and Tuesday
• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Wednesday

Pay: $16.00/hour

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and disinfecting bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Responsible for the dust and wet mopping of floors.
• Responsible for the removal of trash and replacement of trash can linings.
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Operate EPJ, scrubber, tugger, forklift, baler, trash and cardboard compactor, and handle all equipment correctly and safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
