Job summary

Yesway, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to maneuver and position materials across various sites in our geographic area. The role involves operating heavy machinery, loading/unloading rock and debris, and coordinating with the foreman for upgrades and repairs.

You will assist in fuel installation and site setup including tanks, piping, dispenser boxes, and pea gravel spreading. Travel up to 100% 2–3 weeks at a time is required across our regional footprint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
• 100% travel 2-3 weeks anywhere in our geographic area.
• OSHA Certified Training, 30 HR Occupational Safety and Health Course, Confined Space, Excavation, Personal Fall Protection.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
• Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials.
• Communicating with Foreman of requisites upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
• Assisting in fuel installation, setting tanks, piping, setting dispenser boxes and spreading pea gravel.
