Job summary

CMC is seeking candidates to support our manufacturing and recycling operations. You may operate production equipment, help maintain a safe and efficient workspace, and participate in our safety programs to uphold our strong safety culture.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred and a year of relevant experience is helpful.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 year experience in recycling or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean work area and equipment and follow safety rules.
  • Operate production equipment per procedures.
  • Support safety programs and culture.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
  • Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
  • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
What You'll Need
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
  • Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus
Your Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
