Job summary

Old Mine Club in Malakoff, Texas, seeks an Equipment Manager to lead its equipment operation for a developing private golf portfolio, including The Cage, an upcoming 18-hole course, and a new maintenance facility. Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, you will establish maintenance standards, shop procedures, and build a skilled technician team.

Qualifications

Experience with golf course equipment maintenance preferred.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
Experience supervising, training, or developing technicians.
Comfortable using computerized maintenance records and tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operation of the equipment maintenance shop.
Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain golf course equipment (mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, sprayers, aerifiers).
Perform diesel, gasoline, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
Oversee reel and bedknife grinding, cutting-unit setup, sharpening, adjustments.
Establish daily equipment inspection and readiness procedures.
