Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking skilled field mechanics to service equipment across the U.S. and Canada.

You will repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes, and related heavy equipment, often requiring overtime. You’ll utilize manuals and resources to troubleshoot and identify parts for repair while maintaining a safe, clean work area. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to support customer by working overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize technical support resources to troubleshoot and identify parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
